Sybil Patten is a documentary filmmaker, freelance video producer and educator. 

Patten is a graduate of UC Berkeley’s School of Journalism and a member of the filmmaker collective Filmshop.

Currently Patten is producing a documentary about The Community School. In Camden, Maine hundreds of at-risk teenagers graduated from an alternative high school that was co-founded and co-run by Emanuel Pariser and Dora Lievow; this is the story of the alumni who changed their lives at The Community School.

While Donald Trump's poll numbers are lowering across the nation, the Russian speaking community in Brighton Beach not only continues supporting the president, but his support may be growing. This video story provides an inside look into these voters opinions: how they don’t see any connection between Trump and Putin, thoughts on Russian interference in the 2016 elections, and why they so strongly support Trump.
